Who we are

This policy covers apps published by BlueNova Apps LLC under the studio name The MindfulSpaces. The first app is Centered, an iPhone app for personal affirmations and guided listening.

When we add another app, its data practices will be added as their own section on this page. Shared facts — who we are, how to reach us, and the choices below — stay here.

Centered

Centered is for reflection. It is not therapy, not a medical device, and not a crisis service.

What stays on your device

These are stored locally, in the app’s own storage and, for the Home Screen widget, in an App Group on your phone:

• The name you choose to be addressed by, if you set one.
• Stacks you create, affirmations, favorites, and listen history.
• Playback choices, routine times, and the line the widget shows.
• A cache of audio you have played, so it can play again without downloading it every time.

Deleting the app deletes this local library. We do not keep a cloud copy of it.

An identifier, not an account

Centered signs the app in anonymously with Firebase Authentication. That creates a random app identifier so our servers can run the features you ask for and apply fair-use limits. It is not your name, email, or Apple ID. You cannot sign in on a second device and retrieve your writing.

Drafting a practice

Create and Refine send the description you type to our Firebase Cloud Functions. A safety check runs before anything is sent to a model. If the check allows it, the description may be sent to Google Vertex AI (Gemini) to draft affirmation text.

We use that text to return the draft you asked for. We do not show your prompts to other users. We do not use them to build a public profile.

Speaking a practice

Lines that are spoken with cloud voices may be sent to Google Cloud Text-to-Speech. Curated audio that we have already recorded may download from Firebase Storage to your phone.

Crisis checks

If the safety check treats a message as active self-harm or an intent to die, Centered does not generate a practice, does not speak the text, and does not save it. You see a sheet with local emergency services, the US 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and the IASP international resource finder.

Those prompts are not sent to Gemini or Text-to-Speech. We log that a block happened — a reason category and the surface of the app — and we do not log the raw prompt. We do not contact emergency services for you.

Subscriptions

Centered+ is purchased through Apple. Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your card number.

RevenueCat receives an app identifier and the subscription status Apple reports (for example, whether Centered+ is active, which plan, and whether it will renew) so the app can unlock the features you paid for.

Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand whether the app is working: that a listen finished, that a paywall was shown, that a purchase or restore happened, that generation failed. Events describe the action. They do not include the titles, prompts, or affirmation text you wrote.

Firebase may also receive typical app diagnostics, such as an app instance identifier, device type, operating system version, and general location derived from IP address, under Google’s terms.

If Apple provides an attribution token, the app sends it to Apple’s AdServices API to learn whether the install came from an Apple Search Ad. We store the result as a label — search ad or organic — and send that label to Firebase Analytics. We do not put your writing in that label.

Centered does not show third-party ads.

Reminders and the widget

If you allow notifications, reminders are scheduled on your device by iOS. They are not sent from our servers. The widget reads the line saved in the App Group on your phone.

We may record that a widget is installed, as a yes or no, so we know the feature is in use. That record does not include the words on the widget.

Remote configuration

Firebase Remote Config may send the app small settings, such as which catalog version to use. That request uses the Firebase app instance identifier.

Service providers

We share information with these providers only so they can perform the service described above:

• Google Firebase — authentication, cloud functions, analytics, remote config, and file storage.
• Google Vertex AI (Gemini) — drafting text you asked for.
• Google Cloud Text-to-Speech — synthesizing speech you asked for.
• Apple — the App Store, payments, Search Ads attribution, notifications, and the widget.
• RevenueCat — subscription status.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

On-device information stays until you delete it or delete the app. Server logs, the anonymous app identifier, analytics, and subscription status are kept as long as we need them to run, secure, and account for the service, and then deleted or de-identified.

Your choices

• You can use the listening library without sending a personal description to be drafted.
• You can turn off notifications in iOS Settings.
• You can decline the anonymous network features by not using Create, Refine, or cloud voices. Some of those actions still contact Firebase if you use them.
• Limit ad tracking and analytics sharing through your device settings where iOS provides those controls.
• To ask us to delete the anonymous app identifier and server-side records tied to a request, email support@bluenovaapps.com. Because the identifier is random, we may need details only you can see in a support exchange to find the right record. Deleting the app removes the local library.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to appeal a denial. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Email us and we will respond.

Children

Centered is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used Centered in a way that sent personal information to us, email us and we will delete what we can find.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date on this page. If a change materially expands how Centered uses what you write, we will also surface it in the app before that use begins.
